Reliable Car Tyre Repair Experts in Singapore

Onsite Car Tyre replacement

Swift Tyre Specialist is trusted by drivers across Singapore for fast, honest, and high-quality car tyre repair. Our technicians work on tyre problems every single day. They know how to spot damage correctly, choose the right repair method, and get the job done safely.

Before we start any tyre repair, we always check the full tyre first. We look at the tread depth, sidewall condition, bead area, valve stem, and the inside of the tyre. Many workshops only look at the visible damage and skip the deeper check. We do not do that. A proper check takes a few extra minutes but can stop a much bigger problem from happening later on the road.

Our team works with all major tyre brands including Michelin, Continental, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Yokohama, Dunlop, and Giti. We use high-quality repair materials and follow correct repair methods for every job. This is how we keep our customers safe and coming back to us.

If repair is not the safe option, we will show you the damage, explain why it cannot be fixed, and offer you the right solution without any pressure. We also provide a free loan spare tyre so your journey is not interrupted.

Went there to do wheel alignment. The specialists were very pro and i would say they did a very good job and the price was very reasonable. They did the fine tuning and did a test drive before certifying wheel alignment completed. Thanks to them!

My first experience with Swift was for their mobile service when Ah Hong their mobile team came to me and replace my tires. The services was excellent (skill set, experience, willingness, very service oriented) . Ah Hong was the first guy that leave me a deep impression.

Then when I need to replace the other two I went back to Ah Hong and this time we arrange at his workshop with alignment services. The team Sitthikphong, Zhen Rong and JJ was a good team. They coordinate among themself so well and cross references test drive results to re-align my car alignment. After that they print out the alignment report and hand me a copy.

I was impressed once again with the details and attention they pay on the alignment. I went to many shops for alignment service along the years and some shop they pass the alignment when steering still off slightly but Swift team, tried a different config within the system to perfect the alignment.

A shop with names i named recommended.
I installed a set of Giti P10 tyres and initially drove them up the North-South Highway. On the way back to Singapore, my car suddenly started to vibrate badly. I had to exit at Yong Peng and crawl into a tyre shop, where the mechanics found that one tyre had bulged severely.

I brought the tyres back to Swift Tyre, where I had purchased them. To their credit, Swift Tyre was helpful and assisted me with filing a warranty claim. But Giti’s response was extremely disappointing.

Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed the customer, saying the tread separation was due to under-inflation, overloading, or excessive speed—when the tyre had only been used about 8 months and still had 50% tread left. I was on a long trip, and I definitely did not under-inflate my tyres. If Giti now says these tyres cannot handle “overloading” or “excessive speed,” then they should have informed me at the time of purchase that they were not suitable for my BMW X1. It’s not a particularly fast or heavy car, so it felt like they were simply shifting the blame onto me, which is totally unacceptable.

Their “solution”? Offer to replace just one tyre. Anyone who knows tyres understands you can’t change just one—at minimum you replace both fronts or both rears.

To make matters worse, instead of addressing the defect, Giti gave me a list of “recommendations” as though the problem was my driving:

Regularly check and maintain correct tyre pressure using a reliable pressure gauge

Avoid high-impact forces

Practice safe driving habits, such as steering clear of road hazards like potholes and avoiding sharp turns

Do not overload vehicles, exceed speed limits, or brake/turn aggressively

Frankly, these are basic points every driver already knows. To me, it came across as Giti trying to pin the blame on the customer, rather than standing behind their product.

I rejected their offer to replace one tyre and decided to write this honest review of my experience. In my opinion, Giti prioritises saving costs and shifting blame over customer safety. Better to spend a little more and buy tyres from a reputable brand with proper warranty support.

Final word: Be careful with Giti tyres. I will never buy them again. If Google allowed me to give negative stars, I would.

(Posting this review on Swift Tyre’s page only because they were the shop that sold me the Giti tyres. To be clear, Swift Tyre did assist me with the claim—the issue lies squarely with Giti and their poor product and after-sales support.)

My tyres were getting pretty worn out, so I decided to get them changed here after seeing this company recommended in the PHV group. The whole process was quick, smooth, and hassle-free. The staff were professional, explained things clearly, and got everything done efficiently without any upselling. Best part, the price was very affordable compared to other quotes I received. Overall, a reliable and trustworthy workshop that I would definitely recommend to others!

WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR CAR TYRE PROBLEMS

Signs Your Car Tyre Needs Repair

Tyres usually show warning signs before they fail completely. Catching these early saves you from a dangerous situation and a bigger bill later.

Watch out for these signs:

  • Tyre keeps losing air and needs topping up every few days
  • Steering wheel or seat vibrates when driving
  • Car pulls to the left or right when driving straight
  • Visible cut, bubble, or bulge on the tyre sidewall
  • Thumping or unusual noise coming from one wheel
  • One side of the tyre is wearing down faster than the other
  • Tyre pressure warning light keeps coming back on after inflation

Any one of these means your tyre needs a proper check right away, not next week. In Singapore’s heat and heavy traffic conditions, a damaged tyre can get worse very quickly.

Note: If you have run over a nail or screw and your tyre is losing air, that is a specific type of puncture damage. We cover that in full detail on our Car Tyre Puncture Repair page. This page covers all other types of car tyre repair.

Types of Car Tyre Repair We Offer

Different damage needs a different repair method. Here is what our tyre repair team handles:

  • 1

Standard Tyre Patch and Plug Repair

For damage in the tread area of the tyre, we use a patch and plug method together. This is the correct and approved way to repair a tyre. We insert a plug to seal the damage point from inside, then apply an internal patch on top to create a strong, lasting bond. This restores the tyre fully and keeps it airtight.

We do not use a plug on its own as a permanent fix. A plug by itself can come loose over time. The patch and plug combination is the only method we trust for a safe, long-lasting tyre repair.

  • 2

Slow Leak and Air Loss Repair

Sometimes a tyre loses air slowly and there is no obvious damage to see. This is usually caused by a cracked or worn valve stem, a gap between the tyre and the rim, or very small tread damage that is hard to spot. We use a water test and pressure checks to find exactly where the air is coming from. Once we find it, we carry out the right repair, whether that means fitting a new valve, reseating the tyre on the rim, or applying an internal patch.

If your tyre has been losing pressure gradually for days with no clear reason, this is the service you need.

  • 3

Mobile Car Tyre Repair at Your Location

Our mobile tyre repair team carries full repair equipment and can reach you anywhere in Singapore, whether that is your home carpark, office, petrol station, or the roadside. We usually arrive within 30 to 45 minutes of your call. No tow truck is needed and there is no workshop waiting time.

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.

Common Causes of Car Tyre Damage

Singapore roads are generally well maintained, but there are local conditions that cause more tyre damage than many drivers realise:

  • Speed humps – Going over them too fast is one of the most common causes of inside tyre damage that cannot be seen from outside
  • Tight carparks – Hitting kerbs in HDB and multi-storey carparks leads to sidewall cuts and scuffs more often than people expect
  • Potholes near road works – Uneven surfaces near MRT and road construction sites can cause sudden impact damage and tyre bulges
  • Hot roads – Singapore’s climate keeps road surface temperatures high, which causes tyre pressure to rise and fall more often and speeds up tyre wear
  • Wrong tyre pressure – Too much air makes the tyre stiff and more likely to get impact damage. Too little air causes heat to build up inside and stresses the sidewall
  • Old tyres – Rubber hardens and cracks with age. In Singapore’s heat and humidity, tyres over five years old should be inspected carefully even if the tread still looks fine

Getting your tyres checked every 10,000 km, or at every car servicing visit, helps catch these problems early before they turn into a roadside emergency.

Tyre Replacement by Swift Tyre

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does car tyre repair cost in Singapore?

Our car tyre repair service is priced between $50 and $80. This is the full price with no hidden charges. The exact amount depends on the type of repair needed. We always confirm the price before starting any work.

  • How long does a tyre repair take?

Most of the servicing is completed within 30 minutes onsite, considering fast turnaround criteria.

  • Can every flat tyre be repaired?

Not always. Tyres with sidewall bulges, exposed cords, structural damage from impact, or damage outside the safe repair zone need to be replaced. We always check the tyre fully before we advise. If replacement is needed, we explain the reason clearly.

  • Is mobile tyre repair as good as a workshop repair?

Yes, for tread area damage. The patch and plug method and the materials used at your location are the same as in our workshop. We bring proper professional tools to your car, not temporary roadside kits.

  • What is the difference between tyre repair and replacement?

Repair fixes the damage on your existing tyre when it is safe to do so. Replacement means fitting a new tyre, which is necessary when the existing tyre is too worn, too old, or too badly damaged to fix safely. We always choose repair when it is the correct and safe option.

  • What types of tyre damage can you repair?

We handle tread area damage, slow air leaks from valve or bead faults, minor sidewall cuts within safe limits, and rim bead leaks. Bulges, exposed cord damage, and deep sidewall cuts cannot be safely repaired.

  • Do you repair all tyre brands?

Yes. We work with all major brands including Michelin, Continental, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Yokohama, Dunlop, and Giti.

  • Is your tyre repair service available on public holidays?

Yes. We are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including all public holidays.
