Reliable Car Tyre Repair Experts in Singapore

Onsite Car Tyre replacement

Swift Tyre Specialist provides car tyre repair for drivers across Singapore, with both mobile roadside assistance and workshop support.

Before recommending a repair, our technicians check the condition of the tyre and identify where the problem is coming from. Depending on the issue, this may include checking the tread, sidewall, valve, bead area, tyre pressure and signs of internal damage.

This inspection is important because a tyre that looks repairable from the outside may have additional damage that needs attention.

Our team works with major tyre brands including Michelin, Continental, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Yokohama, Dunlop and Giti.

If the tyre can be safely repaired, we will explain the suitable repair option. If replacement is necessary, we will show you the problem and explain why before proceeding.

Our goal is to give you a clear recommendation based on the actual condition of your tyre.

My first experience with Swift was for their mobile service when Ah Hong their mobile team came to me and replace my tires. The services was excellent (skill set, experience, willingness, very service oriented) . Ah Hong was the first guy that leave me a deep impression.

Then when I need to replace the other two I went back to Ah Hong and this time we arrange at his workshop with alignment services. The team Sitthikphong, Zhen Rong and JJ was a good team. They coordinate among themself so well and cross references test drive results to re-align my car alignment. After that they print out the alignment report and hand me a copy.

I was impressed once again with the details and attention they pay on the alignment. I went to many shops for alignment service along the years and some shop they pass the alignment when steering still off slightly but Swift team, tried a different config within the system to perfect the alignment.

A shop with names i named recommended.
I installed a set of Giti P10 tyres and initially drove them up the North-South Highway. On the way back to Singapore, my car suddenly started to vibrate badly. I had to exit at Yong Peng and crawl into a tyre shop, where the mechanics found that one tyre had bulged severely.

I brought the tyres back to Swift Tyre, where I had purchased them. To their credit, Swift Tyre was helpful and assisted me with filing a warranty claim. But Giti’s response was extremely disappointing.

Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed the customer, saying the tread separation was due to under-inflation, overloading, or excessive speed—when the tyre had only been used about 8 months and still had 50% tread left. I was on a long trip, and I definitely did not under-inflate my tyres. If Giti now says these tyres cannot handle “overloading” or “excessive speed,” then they should have informed me at the time of purchase that they were not suitable for my BMW X1. It’s not a particularly fast or heavy car, so it felt like they were simply shifting the blame onto me, which is totally unacceptable.

Their “solution”? Offer to replace just one tyre. Anyone who knows tyres understands you can’t change just one—at minimum you replace both fronts or both rears.

To make matters worse, instead of addressing the defect, Giti gave me a list of “recommendations” as though the problem was my driving:

Regularly check and maintain correct tyre pressure using a reliable pressure gauge

Avoid high-impact forces

Practice safe driving habits, such as steering clear of road hazards like potholes and avoiding sharp turns

Do not overload vehicles, exceed speed limits, or brake/turn aggressively

Frankly, these are basic points every driver already knows. To me, it came across as Giti trying to pin the blame on the customer, rather than standing behind their product.

I rejected their offer to replace one tyre and decided to write this honest review of my experience. In my opinion, Giti prioritises saving costs and shifting blame over customer safety. Better to spend a little more and buy tyres from a reputable brand with proper warranty support.

Final word: Be careful with Giti tyres. I will never buy them again. If Google allowed me to give negative stars, I would.

(Posting this review on Swift Tyre’s page only because they were the shop that sold me the Giti tyres. To be clear, Swift Tyre did assist me with the claim—the issue lies squarely with Giti and their poor product and after-sales support.)

My tyres were getting pretty worn out, so I decided to get them changed here after seeing this company recommended in the PHV group. The whole process was quick, smooth, and hassle-free. The staff were professional, explained things clearly, and got everything done efficiently without any upselling. Best part, the price was very affordable compared to other quotes I received. Overall, a reliable and trustworthy workshop that I would definitely recommend to others!

Signs Your Car Tyre Needs to Be Checked

Tyre problems are not always obvious. Some develop slowly, while others appear suddenly after hitting a kerb, pothole or road debris.

Arrange a tyre inspection if you notice:

  • One tyre keeps losing air
  • Tyre pressure drops again soon after inflation
  • The tyre pressure warning light keeps returning
  • Visible cuts or damage on the tyre
  • A bubble or bulge on the sidewall
  • Unusual thumping or noise from one wheel
  • Sudden loss of tyre pressure
  • Damage after hitting a pothole or kerb
  • A tyre has gone completely flat

These signs do not always mean the tyre can be repaired. Bulges, serious sidewall damage and structural damage may require tyre replacement after inspection.

Car Tyre Problems We Inspect and Repair

Different tyre problems require different solutions. Our technicians inspect the tyre first so we can identify the cause before recommending any work.

  • 1

Slow Tyre Leaks and Air Loss

If the same tyre needs air every few days, there may be a slow leak. Possible causes include a small tread injury, leaking valve, valve core problem or a poor seal between the tyre and wheel.

We check where the air is escaping and recommend the appropriate solution.

  • 2

    Tyre Valve and Bead Leaks

Not every loss of tyre pressure is caused by a puncture. Air can also escape through a worn valve or around the area where the tyre seals against the wheel.

Our technicians can inspect these areas and identify the source of the leak.

  • 3

    Flat Tyre Inspection and Repair

A completely flat tyre should be inspected before it is inflated and returned to normal use. Driving while the tyre is flat can cause additional internal damage.

We assess the condition of the tyre and advise whether it can be repaired or needs replacement.

  • 4

    Mobile Car Tyre Repair

If your tyre problem leaves you stranded, our mobile team can come to your location anywhere in Singapore.

Mobile tyre assistance is available 24 hours a day, including weekends and public holidays. Our usual response time is around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on location, traffic and technician availability.

Can Your Car Tyre Be Repaired or Does It Need Replacement?

Not every damaged or flat tyre needs to be replaced, but not every tyre can be safely repaired either. The right option depends on the location and extent of the damage and the overall condition of the tyre.

A Tyre May Be Repairable When

A repair may be possible when the damage is within an appropriate area of the tread, the tyre has sufficient tread remaining and there are no signs of serious structural or internal damage.

The tyre should be properly inspected before a repair decision is made.

Tyre Replacement May Be Needed When

Replacement may be recommended if the tyre has:

– Sidewall or shoulder damage

– A sidewall bubble or bulge

– Exposed cords

– Severe impact damage

– Excessive tread wear

– Serious internal damage

– Damage caused by driving for too long while flat

If replacement is the safer option, we will explain the reason before any work is carried out.

Our Car Tyre Repair Process

We keep the tyre repair process simple and explain what we find before starting any work.

1. Tell Us What Happened

Call us and share your location, vehicle details and what happened to the tyre. If possible, let us know whether the tyre is completely flat or slowly losing air.

2. Tyre Inspection

Our technician checks the tyre to identify the source of the problem. Depending on the issue, we may inspect the tyre pressure, tread, sidewall, valve and bead area.

3. Repair or Replacement Advice

Once we identify the problem, we explain whether the tyre can be repaired or whether replacement is the safer option.

We follow a repair-before-replace approach where repair is appropriate.

4. Tyre Repair

If the tyre is suitable for repair, our technician carries out the appropriate work using professional tools and repair materials.

Some repairs may require the tyre to be removed for closer inspection. If the work cannot be safely completed at your location, we will explain the available options.

5. Final Check

After the work is completed, we check the tyre pressure and condition before the vehicle returns to normal use.

Common Causes of Car Tyre Damage

Even on well-maintained roads, tyres can be damaged by everyday driving conditions. Some of the common causes we see include:

  • Speed humps –
Going over them too fast can cause impact damage that may not always be visible from outside.
  • Tight carparks –
Hitting kerbs in HDB and multi-storey carparks can cause sidewall cuts, scuffs and other tyre damage.
  • Potholes and road works –
Uneven road surfaces can cause sudden impact damage, tyre bulges or wheel damage.
  • Hot road conditions –
Singapore’s warm climate can affect tyre pressure and contribute to faster tyre wear.
  • Incorrect tyre pressure –
Overinflated or underinflated tyres can wear unevenly and become more vulnerable to damage.
  • Older tyres –
Rubber can harden and deteriorate as tyres age. Older tyres should be inspected regularly even when the tread still appears usable.

Regular tyre checks can help identify wear, pressure problems and damage before they develop into a roadside emergency.
